Weddings

This property is very well suited to weddings and corporate events due to its large wrap around lawns and terraces, and having such a large area under roof [ easily handle 30 - 40 people ] which insures the big day against a rain out. Whilst both houses do suit very well for weddings, it is necessary to decline bookings that need a DJ or a band due to noise problems. Acoustic music or a Hawaiian duo works well. Also Numbers must be kept to 40 people due the limitations that the property automatically imposes. However a group that is certain to be a quite group, we can accommodate 45 people.

We aim to provide a trouble and worry free set up so that the happy couple can actually relax and enjoy their day and not be worrying about organization.

Whilst we are not wedding organizers, we have done a number of weddings and my caretakers are very versed at assisting in arranging the perfect event.

We like to meet with the couple on the first day , walk the property and  design a wedding plan , so that on the day all is pre decided, and pre arranged. My caretakers will quietly arrive early on the day, start the furniture moving, be there to receive the delivery of everything from cakes to ice. We can assist on where to rent chairs, tables, chefs and cutlery.There are multiple locations on the property which suit a ceremony very well, and the design o the houses works well to have the whole group out of the sun and away from possible, though unusual, rain.

The beach is very close and is well suited to beach weddings, often we have groups marry on the beach and then have their reception at the house.

We only use one chef, that’s because he has consistently been excellent, and knows that the first time he is not excellent, he has lost our business. Likewise we recommend our photographer who is superb. We do not take commissions or mark up any of the wedding introductions we provide.It is all part of the service.
