Description

Sunrise of the Heavens is comprised of 2 buildings aprox  20 feet apart. Sunrise house and the coach house. This brand new 7 bedroom ( Master has king bed the rest are Queen beds ) property sits in 2.5 acres of mature Hawaiian  gardens, and is approached from a very long drive to a six foot bronze Buddha out side the front door. The home is in an elevated position offering spectacular views of the close by three Hawaiian islands, yet less than half  a mile from a sandy swimming/ surfing shaded beach which is also great for kids as it has a lagoon of calm sea water.The home has a very large pool [ oversized in fact due to calculation error at time of construction ] which incorporates a  bar, BBQ, jacuzzi, island and a beach entry close to a sand pit. The home its self sits over an acre of lawn.

The games room in the coach house has a 52 inch flat screen plasma HDTV, DVD library, a large sofa, a pool table, and a table soccer table.

When the bi-fold doors are open to the view and pool area, the room measures a grand 60' X 30', and provides multiple seating areas and dining locations. This connects the whole room directly to the pool and lawns. There are 3 large sofas , 2 sumptuous chairs and the palladium seating which provides several seating  areas so guests are not on top of each other.

The accommodation divides between 3 double bedrooms in the Grand main  house and 4 double bedrooms in the very close spacious cottage, the 2 buildings have a illuminated walk path, and are about 30 feet apart. The coach house comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a cinema and a games room with Ping-Pong. The cottage has a private garden and separate parking if preferred.

There is a separate air conditioned office building and there is wifi through out  The home also has washers and dryers installed.

The home benefits from top quality appliances, granite kitchen, crushed or cubed ice making, and enormous living accommodation.

Bedroom Set Up

The main three bedrooms have  lava walled spar type bathrooms with private siesta areas , privatized by  a 6ft 6 inch  Lava rock walled area adjoining the bathrooms which also have the most wonderful views from the baths of the mountain ranges to the rear and of the sea and the whales jumping to the front. Every detail of luxury is catered for, from the illuminated makeup mirrors to 400 count cotton sheets. The actual bath is out doors but securely under roof and the main bathroom area is behind doors .However although the baths are under roof out side they are completely private due to the 6 foot 6 inch lava rock walls that encompass the spar like environment. This whole indoor and out door area is described as a spar type bathroom and we arrange massages for guests who ask, in the privacy of this nature feel environment

This house will sleep 14 easily with up to 18 with incremental amounts of minor squeezing.

Bedroom 3           ~   Queen , en suite bathroom and out door lanai attached to bath room with 7 foot lava walls and views of the volcanoes. Large statue rock carved shower.

The Coach House.

Bedroom 4          ~ Queen, shared bathroom ocean view, opening onto private lawn.

Bedroom 5         ~Queen bed , shared bathroom, ocean view, opening onto private lawn.

Bedroom 6        ~ Queen bed, en suite bathroom, Large Onyx hand carved basin, out door shower, surrounded with designed driftwood 7 foot walls, completely private  showering under the sky, volcano views.

Bedroom 7   ~     This is a King bed in a loft with full ceiling height. Access is via a loft style large secure ladder. Ideal for the young and the  willing, not ideal for the elderly. Bathroom would share the bathroom attached to bed room 6.

Beaches

There are several swimming/surfing beaches within 5 minutes but the nicest is one minute drive at the bottom of the hill where there is a beautiful local beach which is very quiet.It has washrooms, rest rooms, showers, Concreted in BBQ`s and tables, and plate washing facilities and parking.It has an old whaling rock lagoon that has filled up with sand and is calm whatever the sea does and warm always too.My young kids always went there as it is so safe. You can walk to this beach in 5 minutes. This beach is good for beginner surfers as it is rarely rough.

The beach is part shaded and part full sun. Adjoining the wharf, there is a regular sandy beach with smaller surfing waves but still not rough.

Location

 Lahaina town is approximately two miles away where there is a large selection of Historic restaurants and shops . Laniopoko, where the house is,  is just 4 minutes south of Lahaina town , 35 from the airport, 30 from  all the golf courses and 15 from Kanapali,30 from Wailea.

For children

The pool is perfect for young kids as it has a beach entry design and there is a large shaded sandpit surrounded by over an acre of lawn. There is a cinema, TV room and Wee game system and a  Children’s DVD library. For children The layout is  ideal as the house is entirely  all on one level .The sand pit and pool and hot tub are a triangle on the same grass lawn. Shaded hammock for parents to watch from !

THE POOL IS NOT FENCED OFF FOR CHILDREN WHO CAN NOT SWIM.

 Inquire about our full concierge service. Patty, who heads up the concierge service, is also a qualified Yoga instructor, so we are able to offer in house yoga lessons by arrangement. We can book tours, buy food for late check ins on arrival day and generally assist with almost any requirement.

The resident caretaker is there to assist the guests of either house with questions, errands and general help. Also, do not hesitate to call our offices in Vancouver if we can assist you with your vacation planning. If you are staying in one of my houses and there’s something you need, my caretaker will do his best to obtain it for you.

Weddings, Reunions, events and corporate.

This property is very well suited to weddings and  events due to its large wrap around lawns , and having such a large area under roof [ easily handle 30 - 40 people ] which insures the big day against a rain out. Whilst both houses do suit very well for weddings, it is necessary to decline bookings that need a DJ or a band due to noise problems. Acoustic music or a Hawaiian musical duo works well. Also Numbers must be kept to 40 people due the limitations that the property automatically imposes. However a group that is certain to be a quiet group , we can accommodate 45 people.

Additionally we can assist with the planning of the event.

Dining.

Sunrise has a large under roof dining table which seats 12, but which is still out door living, although under roof. This table can be extended to seat 15.There is additional dining areas for another group for when a larger group wishes to all eat together. All plates and dining table accessories are proper quality and match.

Sunrise comprises a large 3 bedroom house and a 4 bedroom coach house immediately close by. The nightly rates vary from $900 in the lowest season to $2900 in the highest season with much of the year averaging between being $1500 per night, and with the coach house it would be averaging $1950 per night. Discounts may be given for smaller numbers.

When compared to the cost of a hotel suite or even hotel room, the cost per head is way cheaper and for huge square footage and massive facilities and full on quality and services.
